Glaco De Cleaner: everything you need to know👉 We call De Cleaner a “3-in-1” product. What does that mean? In one step, De Cleaner removes dirt from glass surfaces and simultaneously refreshes the hydrophobic effect of a previously applied Glaco coating. 👉 It works not only as a cleaning agent but also as a booster for Glaco coatings – restoring full hydrophobic performance and extending the durability of protection. 👉 The product can also be used stand-alone. In this case, it creates a layer on the glass surface that repels water at speeds as low as around 60 km/h. For the driver, that means better visibility and greater comfort when driving in the rain. |
The refreshed Glaco De Cleaner – what’s new?
The first change is the bottle – white, with a shape similar to other Soft99 products – but most importantly: larger. De Cleaner now comes with 100 millilitres more, giving it a total of 500 ml. It’s equipped with a durable, high-quality sprayer that ensures even distribution and minimises unwanted dripping. As a result, use is cleaner, and the risk of accidental contact with paint or clothing is reduced to a minimum.
New look – simplicity and clarity
The refreshed packaging of Glaco De Cleaner retains the signature visual identity of the Glaco line, while introducing a clearer and more organised aesthetic. The white bottle and redesigned label layout were created with the European market in mind – clearly indicating the product’s functions and key properties.
The label also features elements referring to the product’s Japanese origins, including the kanji 日本型, meaning “Japanese style.” This detail serves as a reminder of Soft99’s roots – Japan and its technical culture, where functionality and precision go hand in hand with high quality.

The product’s history dates back to 2001, when Glaco De Cleaner was first launched in Japan as the pioneering cleaner that combined glass washing with hydrophobic technology. Its goal was to simplify daily car maintenance – quickly removing dirt, maintaining and reinforcing the hydrophobic effect, and also functioning stand-alone, for example on side windows.
